Last Electric Rodeo

Bio:

Welcome to the Last Electric Rodeo Fan Page! Of course, LER would never have their own Facebook page, so this is for us fans to keep posted on the Rodeo's activities and to share our thoughts on the End Times

The Last Electric Rodeo's music is a completely unique sound that is yet strangely familiar. It is Alternative, Indie, Western, Rock-a-Billy, Grunge, Punk, Surf Rock and still so much more. Paying homage to Ennio Morricone, it reminisces of the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. The team-up of Wenger and Dixon is that of Burton and Elfman. Its music that would be in Tarantino's Walkman. Its surf rock and 70's country, The Ventures meet Cash, 60's rock and 90's grunge, Doors meet Nirvana. Its Zappa with the Dead Kennedys, The Cramps and Bowie, the Pixies and the Misfits. The imagery it evokes is that of Cowboy Beebop, Tank Girl, Sin City, Atomic Cafe, Mad Max, and the list goes on.

Everything that could go wrong did go wrong, and the Last Electric Rodeo is all we have left of the before times. The Rodeo is a barter town on wheels, a circus sideshow, a theater of the obscure, a caravan of survivors. It's the last hurrah, the last stop, the last show on earth, and if you're here, then you're alive.

Look into the looking boxes and see the world that was. Listen to the listening ears sing and play to us the joys and sorrows that once were.It is The Ringmaster and the Omega Oracle who lead these hapless vagabonds ever onward, always keeping one step ahead of impending doom ceaselessly looming on the horizon.

The rodeo has made it to Atomic Beach, where the beginning of the end began so many years ago. Let us revel the night away, let us live like kings and queens, let us raise our glasses and not look back, for this ain't our first rodeo, but it just might be our last.
