Funky Nuggets

Bio:

The Funky Nuggets were formed in early 2010, stemming out of Palm Beach, FL. Originally, a three piece band, they have torn into the South Florida jam band scene. Since March of 2011 they have added keyboards and found just what they needed to take their jams to the next level. This is an instrumental band that with the help of their loyal and daily growing fan-base, have proved that lyrics aren't everything. They have played with such bands as the Aquaphonics, Fat Mannequin, Trip Don't Fall, Stampede Movement and The Heavy Pets on a number of occasions (among others). T.F.N have also played such Venues as Culture Room, The Funky Buddha Lounge, Hooligans, and DaDA’s just to name a few. In 2011 they were the featured headline acts at both the Splash Naked Music Festival and EarthDance Festival. T.F.N has a unique sound some would even refer to as Jazz-Funk-Fusion. However, they just simply think of themselves as a ''jam band'' and are VERY improvisational in their live shows. Feeding off the energy of the crowd and falling into long improv jams, they never play a song exactly the same. Thus keeping every T.F.N experience unique and very “in the moment.” They've shown to be gaining great momentum in the Florida music scene and with no sign of slowing down the future looks to be very bright for The Funky Nuggets.
