Bride of Chaotica

Edgy, propulsive, psychedelic jazz fusion defines the Bride of Chaotica experience. An intricate, vividly cinematic, modern sound informed by the improvisational spirit of jazz and rock champions of the late 20th century.
The band’s self-described “evenings of dangerous jazz” feature episodic forays into the sonic unknown. Two albums worth of Bride of Chaotica’s own striking instrumentals, intermingled with their rearrangements of classic hits from a spectrum of recording artists ranging from the Beatles to Curtis Mayfield to Roxy Music, provides the source material for their trademark live improv explorations.
Formed in September of 2008, the trio played their first show on New Year's Day, 2009 at Yeoman's Road on Davis Island in Tampa. Since then Bride of Chaotica has wowed crowds at the Orange Blossom Jamboree in Brooksville, FL; the annual Earth Day Concert at Tampa's Lowry Park; and The Tampa Tribune's Friday Extra Concert Series at downtown's new Curtis Hixon Park; and has captivated appreciative audiences at clubs across the west coast of Florida including the Dunedin Brewing Company, the Hub in downtown Tampa, the Orlando Brewing Company, and north Tampa's Skipper's Smokehouse.
